- Newly created CRO role
- A broadly-based management team
Luxembourg, 13 November 2017: Deutsche Oel & Gas S.A. has appointed Rainer Klee Chief Risk Officer with effect from 1 November 2017. Mr Klee has been a member of the Deutsche Oel & Gas S.A. team since April 2017 as Head of Accounting and Controlling, and has more than 30 years’ professional experience as an accounting and finance specialist. He has been chief financial officer at ABB, Babcock and Holzmann AG, among others.
Kay Rieck, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Oel & Gas S.A. said: “In a short time, Rainer Klee has impressively demonstrated how valuable his wealth of experience is for us, a company which, while still young, is also already the second-largest private natural gas producer in Alaska. The structures that he sets up for us in the areas of controlling, accounting and compliance do justice to our anticipated strong growth as well as the demands of the capital market.”
Rainer Klee: “Capital market demands have been my constant companions at the various stages of my career. I am therefore ideally equipped to become involved in our current projects, such as our transformation into a European stock corporation (SE) or the consolidation of the share classes. It is a novelty for me to play an active part in a company that enjoys such strong growth. It is particularly stimulating to be actively steering and co-shaping this development within a management team that is now even more broadly-based.”
