- Start of 2016 drilling season planned for April
Luxembourg, 19 February 2016: Deutsche Oel & Gas S.A. is starting this year’s drilling season as planned, with increased exploration capacities. The Randolph Yost drilling platform will be the first larger and more powerful drilling platform to be used in the company’s own development region, the Kitchen Lights Unit. After it was prepared for use in subarctic waters, the platform left the port of Singapore a few day ago and is now on its way across the Pacific. The platform is expected to arrive in the Gulf of Alaska at the beginning of March. As soon as the Cook Inlet is free of ice, the Randolph Yost will be transported to the first drilling site of the 2016 drilling season, where it will immediately begin its drilling activities.
